Fay Snip-It From The Front Porch

Tropical Storm Fay hasn't been all that eventful, but we did need the rain. Cory tells me the water table (he's on a well) is low, low, low. So this should help. It's rained off and on all day, but the good rains have come this afternoon and now in the evening.

One thing of interest, Weather Underground, the local news outlets and The Weather Channel are pointing out that "Tropical Storm Fay is pulling a trick that may be unprecedented--significantly intensifying over land, developing a full eyewall. The radar and satellite images of Fay this afternoon show a much better-organized storm than the Fay that made landfall this morning. "

Embedding Audio Files In My Blog

I thought I was about to lose it. I've posted about this more than once. All my links to music on my blog had been dumped because the old site I was using to host my files had died. So my uploading persisted, but I kept having difficulties embedding the audio into my blog as I always did. The previous test finally proved sucessful. It's about darn time, I say. Not that I've been working to correct this issue constantly. Everytime I failed, it put me off it for the next time. But tonight, I was obsessed. I am a winner.

However, once more for practice.

Even a moderate success is wonderful thing!
