I was off work today running my dental and medical errands. I swapped with a co-worker so I work on Saturday to close. Not looking forward to that. As you can see, today was breezy, cold and drizzly day in Central Florida. I took Lucy by Pets On A Cloud for a little grooming. (She looks quite lovely, thank you.) I had an appointment with an endodontist in Kissimmee for a root canal procedure. Usually, that's the ticket, but tonight I am hurting. I'm afraid this throbbing will keep me awake. Oh, well, just so I'm better by tomorrow. Then I had an appointment to see my Family Practice doctor for my various meds. Blood pressure was a little higher than normal, but I think it was because the numbness had worn-off from the root canal and I was beginning to ache.
Then, because the temporary filling they plugged in the hole of my tooth fell out while I was talking to the Family Practice doctor, I had to stop-by my regular dentist for a patch. Luckily, they were in the office later today. But that was when the pain really started and has been honking ever since.
So that was my day. It's a good day to remember that "this too shall pass" and remind myself that we are all healthy and happy in general. Counting blessings IS the best way to go tonight and every night.
We've finally gotten our winter. Tonight's low temperatures are in the upper 30's. Brrrr. It's already quite cold and windy out there tonight. I hope the temps moderate a bit by tomorrow evening because Brooke and I are meeting-up with all the youngsters from work to attend the Pirates and Princess Party at the Magic Kingdom. It would be a shame if it was as cold as it is tonight. Crossing my fingers for 50's and NO tooth ache.
