OT Doesn't Leave Much Time For Blogging

I don't mind so much that the housework goes undone when I'm doing overtime. However, time for blogging and reading to blog has become scarce. I kinda HATE that.

Oh well, this too shall pass. Dwain is preparing to leave for Canada tomorrow. He's going to a suburb of Toronto. Don't ask me where, I do good to remember Toronto (I've only had to ask him a dozen times. I keep thinking it's Ottawa or Quebec. The memory plays tricks on the older brain, doesn't it?) Dwain's been working non-stop for at least two weeks, since coming back from the holidays. His new job in the finance department is a fresh challenge. See? Old dogs CAN learn new tricks. That's what I kept saying the whole time I was at MainGate. But I knew my lodgings there were temporary. I always had a glimmer of light at the end of my tunnel.

We're anxiously awaiting Dwain's birth certificate from Texas. He won't have any problem getting into Canada without it, but counsel says he'll need it to get home. Dwain's been through the wringer on this one. Had we known about the trip earlier, we could have saved him a LOT time online and on the phone.
