An ice storm lashed central Ontario Monday, turning the rush hour in Toronto into an icy, fender-bending crawl while at Pearson International Airport, schedules were thrown into disarray as aircraft waited in queue to be de-iced.
Farther east in Ottawa, the largest snow storm of the winter blew into town Monday morning, slowing traffic to a crawl but causing only minor delays at the Ottawa airport.
